Canine Epilepsy
Canine Epilepsy is a very common disease in dogs, it can happen to any
kind of breeds, from small to very large. My dog Manilow started having
seizures when he was 6 years old. It began one night as I awoke to a
very loud noise and found him in the midst of a Grand Mal seizure.
Slowly he began to have seizures more frequently and we began to
give him medications to help control his seizures. Two years later
he passed away due to the many seizures he had that we could not
control. During that time I found about a wonderful group of dog owners
The Canine Epilepsy Resources Center and it gave me great strength
and hope and I still belong to the group today

Breast Cancer
The disease of breast cancer can happen to almost anyone too.
In the past few years I have had several friends have to go through
the ordeal of fighting breast cancer and this fall I participated
in The Making Strides for Breast Cancer walk in Boston to help
in raising money to some day find a cure. It felt wonderful to be
a part of such a large event. I encourage others to help participate
and to help others with this disease. Here are a couple of links
that you can learn more about.
