Barbara has been playing and hanging around with dogs since she was a young kid where she was always so happy to be surrounded by her doggie friends. She has over 10 years of experience in working in the Doggie Daycare field and she opened her own daycare of Manilow's Canine Playground in June 2003.
Her doggie daycare is named for her special dog, Manilow who was her inspiration to open up her very own business. He has since passed away, however his spirit continues to live on here at our doggie daycare.
Barbara now owns two yellow Labrador Retrievers who are Barry & Baxter and they have lots of fun playing with their many friends here at Manilow's Canine Playground.
Bobby Donahue
Bobby comes to Manilow's with over 5 years of animal experience. He has
worked at two other doggie daycares and for the past year has been a pet nutrition specialist for Nutro dog food. He is attending Quinsigamond College for
his Associates degree in Business. At home he cannot get enough animals. He lives with a flock of free roaming parrots in his house and breeds small animals. Bobby has a Norfolk Terrier named Rocko who is convinced he is a big dog though he weighs in at 26lbs.
Seth Beauregard
Seth has always had a canine companion in his life. From the age of one up to
four, he had a german shepard who was extremely loyal to his family. At age
six, Seth’s family brought two golden retrievers into their family. These two
dogs, Simba and Butterscotch were friends Seth grew up with. He created a very
special bond with the two of them, they really were family to him.
Unfortunately Butterscotch passed when Seth was sixteen and Simba recently
passed in the summer before his junior year at college.
Seth’s family now has two more dogs in the family. Angel and Link who are both rescued dogs that were stranded during Hurricane Ike. Both of the dogs are loving and can not get enough attention.
Seth began working at Manilow’s Canine Playground in the summer before his
junior year at college. He loved working there and meeting many new canine
friends. Every day was something knew and to be enjoyed with all of the furry
friends. Dogs are great animals and are able to create a bond with anyone
regardless of their background. During his time there Seth was able to enjoy
the company of all the doggie friends from the regulars to the once in a while
visitors.
Unfortunately Seth could not continue to work at Manilow’s due to having to get
back to his college studies in the field of Fine Arts. Seth hopes to return to
Manilow’s during the winter and summer breaks from college. |
